💭 Art isn’t taught. It’s passed down. San Frediano, Florence—a district steeped in craftsmanship. Paolo Ermini was born here in 1965, along with a vision: to transform silver into emotion. After studying at Florence’s Institute of Art, Paolo didn’t merely learn—he absorbed. He lived figurative art, form, and gesture. Inspired by legendary goldsmiths like Carl Fabergé and Benvenuto Cellini, he fell in love with the expressive power of silversmithing.

At 16, he exhibited ink drawings. At 25, he co-founded SEC OF FLORENCE with Massimo Spinelli and Stefano Cherici. Their initials became the brand. Their workshop in Florence’s historic centre became a destination for those seeking objects that don’t just shine—they speak.
